To achieve this vision, Securitas Europe has launched a business transformation program: North Star Program Common Core. The objective of the program is to transform and unify organization and processes in all European countries by new common platform enabler. The program was launched 3 years ago, and it has now entered a new phase to manage the roll-out in upcoming countries as we have already gone live in number of countries.
As a Platform Architect, focusing on Integration, you will be a part of the North Star Program Architecture team with the responsibility to enable a successful program delivery. Your work will directly influence our technology strategy and the achievement of our business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Architecture Leadership – you will be responsible for the architecture in the integration area, overseeing its development and implementation together with teams and individuals.
- Defining target architecture – you will create a clear and well-defined target architecture for your domain, ensuring it aligns with business goals and is implementable.
- Roadmap creation and updates – you will regularly update the architecture roadmap to ensure alignment with the target architecture and business priorities.
- Leading architectural activities – you will lead architecture-related activities in your domain, making key decisions and providing expert technology guidance.
- Domain expertise – you will provide expertise for business plans, roadmaps, feasibility studies, and design workshops, helping guide strategic planning and solution design.
- Setting and enforcing standards – you will create, maintain, and implement architecture standards and reference architectures, ensuring consistency across the organization.
- Shaping project architectures – Your architectural designs will lead projects or change initiatives, ensuring they adhere to standards and meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Governance of solution design – you will oversee that the solutions being developed conform to the architecture and meet agreed-upon standards.
- Architecture reviews – you will lead and participate in architecture assessments and reviews, ensuring the highest quality of technology solutions.
- Technology life cycle management – you will be involved in managing the life cycle of technology and solutions within your domain.
Your main focus will be on the Integration domain, guiding both business and IT teams to make the best possible technology design and investment decisions, aligned with our strategies and company objectives.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of working experience within Architecture and the broader IT industry.
- 5+ years of relevant & documented Architecture experience from the Integration Domain and experience of Integration Pattern definition as well as associated standards.
- Experience in driving change, leading an architecture roadmap and collaborate cross functionally at all levels of a complex organization.
- IT/IS architecture experience in an Enterprise Architecture context.
- In depth knowledge of creating and leading an Integration Domain architecture.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture framework like TOGAF.
- English language proficiency to business standards.

- Pragmatic and persistent way of work with a positive and open approach.
- Strong communication skills.
Location: Role is open for Europe based candidates, focusing on those located in Sweden, France, Germany or Poland.
Working model: Hybrid, traveling across European countries is required approx. once a month.
