About the Role
Securitas is seeking a highly motivated ICFR Associate to support the Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) program across 12 countries within the AMEA region. The role will be responsible for assessing and monitoring financial controls, supporting risk assessments, driving remediation activities, and leveraging technology and AI-enabled analytics to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of ICFR related activities.
This position offers an opportunity to work in a complex, multicultural environment while contributing to the strengthening of financial governance, compliance, and risk management across the region.
Responsibilities
ICFR Program Execution & Compliance
Conduct ICFR testing to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of group controls processes (Purchase to pay, Sales to cash, FSCP, Payroll, treasury, fixed assets, etc) across AMEA countries.
Perform walkthroughs, control testing, and documentation reviews.
Support management in identifying control gaps, root causes, and remediation plans.
Evaluate segregation of duties (SoD), authorization controls, and financial reporting risks.
Risk Assessment & Controls Monitoring
Perform financial reporting risk assessments and identify emerging control risks.
Analyze control deficiencies and provide recommendations for improvement.
Review balance sheet accounts for significant quarterly movement
Digitalization & Continuous Improvement
Utilize data analytics/ Power BI/ Microsoft Copilot, and AI-enabled tools to enhance control monitoring and testing efficiency.
Support automation, dashboard development, and digital transformation initiatives within the ICFR program.
Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and strengthen finance controls and processes.
Policies, SOPs & Process Reviews
Partner with countries’ finance teams to review, update, and enhance finance policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Ensure alignment with Group requirements and best practices.
Conduct end-to-end process reviews to identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and assist countries in amending where improvement opportunities.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience in ICFR / SOX compliance, Internal Audit, Risk Advisory, Financial Controls, External Audit
Experience working in multinational organizations or Big 4 firms is preferred. Exposure to multi-country or regional compliance environments is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
CA/ACCA/CPA/CIA or equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
Travels: Up to 25% travel within the AMEA region required.
