We are looking for a SOC Technical Support Engineer (Level 2) to provide advanced technical support, system engineering, and platform management for Securitas Operation Centres (SOC) platforms. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing Remote Guarding & Alarm Monitoring platforms, ensuring efficient operations for end customers, country IT teams, and AMEA stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Alarms), IT networks, and SQL administration. Industry certifications, including Milestone Certified Engineer, etc. are a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support & Platform Management:
- Provide Level 2 technical support for all SOC platforms.
- Remote Guarding & Alarm Monitoring platform L2 Technical Support for Securitas Country production teams, including:
- Immix CS Application
- RVS/Milestone Application
- Mastermind Application
- PRTG
- Alarm receivers, Routers, Network Switches, IT Servers, and Database management for the above applications.
- Site / End-user configuration and troubleshooting.
- Perform SOC platform upgrades and updates to ensure system security and reliability.
- Troubleshoot network issues (L1 support) and coordinate with country IT teams.
- Support database administration (L1) tasks.
- Coordinate and execute maintenance windows with IT, and local production teams.
- Liaise with L3 Vendor Support for advanced issue resolution.
2. Platform Usage Standardization
- Develop and enforce standard templates, processes and best practices.
- Establish and implement process documentation and guidelines for platform usage.
- Ensure alignment with global operational standards.
3. Training & Stakeholder Coordination
- Conduct training sessions for local production teams on Remote Guarding platforms.
- Maximize feature usage to improve client outcomes.
- Coordinate with AMEA IT team, CIO & Country stakeholders to optimize processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science.
- 5+ years of experience in Security Product installation/Technical Support (Video, Access, & Intrusion).
- Strong understanding of Video Surveillance (CCTV), Intrusion Detection, Access Control, and Automation.
- Experience working with Immix, RVS/Milestone, Mastermind, and other alarm monitoring platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills – ability to assess impact, complexity, and urgency quickly.
- Excellent communication skills – Fluent in English, with strong listening and explanation abilities.
- A team player with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Preferred Qualifications & Certifications:
- Milestone Certified Engineer.
- Experience with Access Control Systems & Intrusion Alarm Systems.
- Other CCTV certifications (e.g., Axis, Bosch, Honeywell) are a plus.
- Thorough knowledge of IT networks, network protocols, and basic programming/troubleshooting.
- Experience in security system designs.
- SQL administration / working experience.
Location: Gurugram, India. It's a hybrid working model.
