We are looking for a driven and highly experienced Commercial Market Analyst to join our Global Client Sales organization and help shape our global commercial strategy by conducting in-depth analysis on pricing, market trends, and competitive positioning, particularly focusing on Fortune 500 companies. You will be a key contributor in driving data-driven decisions that will impact our product pricing, market entry, and global growth strategy. You will be also given an opportunity to be managing 2-people team.
In this role, you will leverage your market research expertise and strong analytical skills to monitor market dynamics, assess commercial opportunities, and work closely with our Sales and Client teams to optimize Securitas’ offerings in a competitive marketplace. This is a unique opportunity to influence high-impact strategic decisions at one of the leading security companies in the world.
Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conducting detailed research on global markets, with a focus on Fortune 500 companies, identifying trends, challenges, competitive positioning, and opportunities for market growth. Providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on findings.
- Pricing Strategy & Optimization: Developing and refining pricing models to maximize profitability and competitiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement pricing strategies. Analyzing market data, evaluating pricing structures, and developing strategies to optimize in line with market trends, competitive benchmarks, and client demands.
- Client and Industry Analysis: Performing comprehensive research on key clients and target industries, providing insights on their financial health, strategic priorities, and market behavior to support account teams in targeting opportunities.
- Data-Driven Market Forecasting: Building predictive models using economic, industry, and client data to forecast market developments, client needs, and potential disruptions, allowing the business to anticipate and react swiftly to changes.
- CRM System Management: Overseeing sales processes within the CRM system (CEP) to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Training and supporting team members in using our CRM tool effectively.
- Commercial Strategy Support: Gathering and interpreting market data to support strategic decision-making. Creating detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Partnership with Sales and technology teams: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide market insights and align strategies. Providing insights and recommendations to enhance market positioning.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- About 8 years of experience in market analysis, commercial strategy, or a similar role, preferably within the technology, consulting, or financial services sectors.
- Proven track record in conducting detailed market research and competitive analysis, particularly focused on large enterprises or Fortune 500 companies.
- Experience in pricing strategy, forecasting, and working with large datasets to develop actionable insights.
- Previous experience in leading a team would be a plus.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and knowledge of market research software/platforms.
- Proven experience in market analysis, pricing, and client research.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. CEP) and tools for competitive benchmarking and client research.
- Soft Skills:
- Analytical mindset with the ability to draw insights from complex data sets and translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex analyses to senior stakeholders.
- Collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work across multiple functions and contribute to diverse projects.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a Fortune 500 company or with large enterprises in a commercial or business strategy role.
- Advanced proficiency in data modeling, pricing optimization, and predictive analytics.
Working conditions
Role is based in Securitas AMEA office in India, Gurugram. It's a hybrid working model with Tuesdays and Wednesdays as mandatory office days. Travelling to European countries may appear up to a few times a year.
