IT is a key function supporting the capabilities of a modern and powerful IT technology needed to fulfil Securitas business strategy.
In Europe, our 400+ IT co-workers support digital products and services for clients and transforming and protecting our existing IT landscape, making sure colleagues all over the European Division can work efficiently in a modern IT environment.
As an IT Product Manager, you play a central role in the global roll-out of business-critical solutions. You are responsible for managing the product roadmap and backlog, and to ensure that the roadmap and backlog represents the priorities of the business. The objectives of the role are to contribute to rapid implementation and adoption of the solution and ensure that the development resources are directed to the highest business value.
In addition, you are accountable for continuity and delivery performance of service operations, quality assurance and operational readiness. You manage service delivery vendors, and support team that provide support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall quality of backlog items
- Ensure each User Story in the backlog describes the supposed business value
- Participate in Global Business Product Owners’ prioritization work
- The Demand-to-Production end-to-end process for converting business demands to deployed code
- Initiate and drive topics that will make the rollout of the Platform
- Own the Service Description document, that describes the offering from Securitas IT to the business.
- Leading the Platform Core Team consisting of Solution Architect, UAT Lead and other roles
- Ensure 3rd party solution provider follows best practices and maintains service level agreements
- Lead different streams of the solution, rectifying reliability issues, monitoring progress, tracking KPIs, and managing budgets
- Develop problem management process and service improvement plans
- Ensure business and technical parties are represented in the definition and evolution of services via the Business and IT Product Owners
- Ensure AMS Vendor follows best practices and maintains service level agreements
Key Deliverables:
- Demand prioritization
- Service description document
- Service status report
- Service improvement plans
Key Partnerships:
- ESS Service Director – align on the overall status of the Platform, escalate any issues to Service Director as necessary.
- Application Management Service (AMS) Director – align on performance of AMS vendor and efficiency of AMS processes
- Business Product Owner – align on the priorities for the backlog
- Oracle Solution Architect – discuss priority conflicts, if necessary
- AMS Technology Deployment Manager – communicate on application releases
- Integration Lead & Architect - alignment on integration development and dependencies
- Business Analyst – collaborate on product issues, performance and future strategy

- Strong understanding of business needs, targets, and processes, as well as the technology opportunities to improve business
- Deep understanding of services and solutions in Securitas
- Strong project and product management skills
- Experience from a matrix organizations and virtual teams
- Drive to generate higher client value through the service/solution delivery
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to make decisions and execute
- Strong people management skills
- Fluent in English
