About the role
The AI Strategy Lead strengthens Securitas’ ability to scale AI adoption and progress strategic bets by enabling the technical capabilities, federated execution structures and technology recommendations needed across the organization.
The role acts as a bridge between business and technology, translating external AI technology developments and internal business needs into practical capability priorities, tooling recommendations and strategic innovation input. It combines strategic thinking with hands-on enablement, ensuring that AI and innovation is not run as individual initiatives solely but is supported by a scalable system of people, processes and technology.
The role requires strong technical credibility and understanding of end-to-end AI product development. This expertise is used to challenge assumptions, guide better decisions, support federated AI and innovation contributors, advise on GenAI and agentic tooling, and help the AI Impact Hub become a stronger capability multiplier for both broad adoption and high impact innovation.
Responsibilities
1. Own external AI technology outlook and learning loop
Maintain and translate an external perspective on AI technology development into Securitas-relevant capability priorities, tooling recommendations and strategic innovation input.
Track emerging AI technology developments across GenAI, agentic AI and applied AI use cases relevant for Securitas enterprise setting.
Translate external AI technology signals into implications for Securitas’ capabilities, tools, operating model, technical prerequisites and strategic innovation opportunities.
Assess what new AI capabilities could make possible for Securitas as input to Strategic bets (new client offerings or value chain transformation).
Provide a business-tech perspective to selected strategic innovation opportunities, clarifying feasibility, scalability, risks, dependencies and build/buy/partner considerations.
Ensure learning loops with external AI networks and relevant industry forums.
Package learnings into practical recommendations across people, process and technology.
2. Lead federated AI capability enablement
Grow and mature the people, capability and enablement structures needed for Securitas to scale systematic AI adoption and transformational innovation across the organization.
Evolve expectations, capability and success criteria for key federated AI and innovation roles such as Federated Specialists (A Federated Specialist is a hybrid business–technology expert who translates opportunities into practical AI solutions, hands-on customizes or build solutions and drives end-to-end implementation to deliver measurable business value).
Identify and solve capability gaps together with business stakeholders, ensuring the right people, skills and ownership structures are in place to support both broad adoption and transformational innovation.
Lead onboarding, enablement and continuous learning for technical federated roles across the AI and innovation ecosystem.
Create practical assets, guidance and learning formats that help technical federated teams apply AI, innovation methods and emerging technologies to real business opportunities.
Connect distributed capability-building to the AI portfolio, value realization practices and strategic innovation opportunities, in close collaboration with the Portfolio & Value Realization Lead and Innovation Lead.
Help define and evolve the tools, technology environments and practical prerequisites needed for federated AI and innovation contributors to explore, test and progress opportunities responsibly and effectively.
3. Provide business-tech input to AI and innovation operating model evolution
Support the AI Impact Hub Lead and team in evolving Securitas’ AI and innovation operating model by bringing a technical capability lens to priority topics.
Identify technical, tooling and capability-related blockers that slow down AI adoption or innovation execution.
Recommend improvements to capabilities, technical prerequisites, tooling, sandbox environments and enabling team interfaces.
Contribute to clarity and scalable ways of working where feasibility, technical handovers, data/tech prerequisites or experimentation environments are critical.
Support role clarity where Federated Specialists, Specialized AI, AI/Data Governance and other IT teams are involved.
Help stakeholders understand what is possible, realistic, risky and valuable from a business-tech perspective.
4. Drive GenAI and agentic capability recommendations
Lead the AI Impact Hub’s practical recommendation process for GenAI and agentic enterprise tools and capabilities, supporting key collaborators across the organization to translate business needs, external technology signals and risk considerations into clear recommendations on what Securitas should test, adopt, scale or avoid.
Monitor external AI tool and agentic AI developments.
Support CIOs in interpreting needs from business teams, Federated Specialists and use case owners.
Support CIOs and Digital workplace to define practical evaluation criteria for tools and capabilities.
Recommend which tools/capabilities Securitas should test, adopt, scale or avoid. Ensure tool recommendations are connected to actual business use cases and adoption needs.
Collaborate with Digital workplace, Security, AI/Data Governance and other relevant stakeholders.
