Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Norway
Location: Norway, Oslo.
Travel: Domestic travel as required for collaboration with operations, service teams, and leadership

We now seek a collaborative, forward‑thinking Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Norway to partner with the General Manager and leadership team during a period of significant transformation.
Purpose
The CFO Norway leads the financial strategy, transparency, and operational effectiveness of the Norwegian business. This leader strengthens business partnering, improves data quality, drives operational and process excellence, and plays a critical role in stabilising systems and enabling profitable growth.
The role blends operational depth with strategic influence supporting an organisation integrating legacy cultures, addressing system challenges, improving financial steering, and preparing the business for long‑term top‑line and margin expansion.
Major Responsibilities
Strategic Finance & Business Leadership
Partner with the GM to shape and deliver the Norway strategy, providing clear, data‑driven insight into financial and operational performance.
Strengthen financial transparency, improving forecast accuracy, P&L clarity, cost visibility, and business insights.
Support long‑term margin ambitions by improving underlying cost structures, process discipline, pricing accuracy, and operational effectiveness.
Lead Finance’s support for the business, including development of business cases, financial modelling, scenario planning, and relevant documentation.
Offer forward‑looking, challenge‑oriented viewpoints in leadership discussions that elevate decision‑making quality.
Business Control & Financial Planning
Lead budgeting, forecasting, performance reviews, and KPI development to ensure robust business steering.
Deliver accurate, timely reporting, ensuring clarity on financial results and drivers across all functions.
Produce financial models and commercial analyses that illuminate opportunities, risks, customer profitability, and investment decisions.
Strengthen processes related to pricing of services and offerings, ensuring competitiveness and sustainable profitability.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Ensure reliable and compliant accounting according to internal guidelines and local regulatory requirements.
Oversee month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing with high quality and integrity.
Partner with auditors, Group Finance, and regional teams to ensure strong governance and financial discipline.
Operational Finance, Supply Chain & Process Excellence
Work closely with operations to address supply chain challenges, enhance installation‑to‑service coordination, and improve procurement effectiveness.
Lead process improvement initiatives and automation to reduce manual workarounds and strengthen data quality.
Drive ERP‑related stabilisation and system improvements, ensuring accurate financial and operational flows.
Improve working capital through better invoicing quality, billing accuracy, and cash‑flow visibility.
Support operational workshops and improvement programmes aimed at addressing process gaps and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Leadership, Team Development & Culture Building
Lead, energise, and develop a finance team through clear expectations, coaching, and capability‑building.
Foster a culture of openness, collaboration, and learning across finance, operations, logistics, purchasing, and commercial teams.
Support and develop team members
Provide stable, empathetic leadership to a team that has navigated prolonged system pressure and significant change.

Education
Bachelor’s degree or a Master`s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
Experience & Knowledge
Significant experience in senior finance leadership roles.
Strong grounding in business controlling, FP&A, planning, forecasting and financial performance management.
Experience improving operational processes, supply chain coordination, and/or system and ERP integration.
Proven ability to operate at both strategic and hands‑on levels.
Experience navigating complex, matrixed organisations with American, European, and local cultural influences.
Background in service‑oriented, project‑driven, or technology‑enabled industries is beneficial.
Experience developing teams, supporting talent growth, and building an engaged finance function.
