Our role
We are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer with hands-on experience in Optimizely CMS (formerly Episerver) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to join our Public Web team. You’ll be responsible for developing and optimizing responsive, accessible, and performant frontend solutions within the Optimizely platform for Securitas Public Websites while ensuring proper integration and management of tracking and analytics tags via GTM. Strong communication skills in English are essential for this role to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and enhance frontend components and templates for websites built on Optimizely CMS 12 (ASP.NET Core).
Implement pixel-perfect, responsive web designs using HTML, CSS/SCSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or vanilla JS).
Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and content teams to deliver seamless, scalable digital experiences.
Configure and maintain Google Tag Manager containers and triggers, collaborating with marketing and analytics stakeholders.
Ensure proper integration of tags for analytics, conversion tracking, A/B testing, and third-party services.
Apply accessibility (WCAG) and performance best practices throughout the development cycle.
Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and QA/testing cycles in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Support rollout and continuous improvement of Optimizely features, such as content personalization and experimentation.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in frontend development with strong skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.
2+ years of experience developing for Optimizely CMS (v11 or v12), with a solid understanding of block/template architecture.
Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager, including tag configuration, custom events, and data layer implementation.
Familiarity with Google Analytics (GA4) and other martech tools used with GTM.
Experience working with .NET-based CMS environments.
Understanding accessibility (WCAG), and web performance optimization techniques.
Ability to work with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Azure DevOps.
Technical Skills:
Optimizely CMS (Episerver) - Must have
Optimizely CMS 11/12, especially CMS 12 (.NET Core).
Experience working with .NET Core MVC and Razor views in Optimizely.
Familiarity with Optimizely DXP, Content Delivery API, and Search & Navigation (Find).
Working with content editors and understanding Optimizely’s editorial workflows.
Front-end - Must have
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Experience with SCSS/SASS, BEM methodology, and responsive/mobile-first design
Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks/libraries: React, Vue.js, or Alpine.js (preferred but not required).
Knowledge of modern build tools: Webpack, Vite, npm, Yarn.
Implementation of accessibility (WCAG) and performance best practices.
Cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
Development & Workflow Tools - Must have
Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar).
Experience using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Debugging with browser dev tools, GTM preview mode, and analytics consoles.
Google Tag Manager - Nice to have
Experience in setting up and managing GTM containers, tags, triggers, and variables.
Implementing and debugging data layers, custom events, and conversion tracking.
Integration with Google Analytics (GA4) and marketing platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.).
Understanding of cookie consent frameworks and privacy-compliant tagging (e.g., OneTrust).
AI & Intelligent Frontend Responsibilities - Nice to have
Leverage AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, IDE AI features) to improve development speed, code quality, and consistency while following team standards and security guidelines.
Collaborate in implementing AI-powered features and integrations on Optimizely suite
Use AI to support performance optimization and code refactoring, faster debugging and root-cause analysis of frontend and tracking issues
Stay up to date with emerging AI trends in frontend development, analytics, and digital experience platforms, and proactively suggest improvements aligned with business goals.
This role is open for candidates based in Warsaw, Poland (Hybrid model) or Poland remotely (1 day per month You will need to visit Warsaw). Hybrid working model is applicable (2x per week from the office). It involves occasional international travel.
