Platform Security Architect

Along with our rapidly growing organization, we are currently looking for a Platform Security Architect in the Digital Security Strategy and Architecture team to support design the security posture of the Securitas Business platforms.

Job description
You are responsible for defining the business platforms from an enterprise security architecture point of view, assessing the risks and specifying the enterprise security requirements. These security requirements are formalized into a baseline. The baseline is used to steer and monitor the Digital Security posture of all business platforms in the group. Overall, you are responsible for:
Documenting the security baseline:
- Understand and document a logical architecture of the technology, information systems, actors and data in a business platform.
- Define the business impact and perform a Digital Security & Privacy Risk review.
- Analyze the risk scenarios & applicable technical threats.
- Maintain the security requirements to address the risk & threat scenarios.
- Maintain a grading mechanism to evaluate the risk posture.
- Collect feedback from key stakeholders on improvement points for the baseline.
Organize compliance assessments and remediation activities
- Train others to execute compliance assessments.
- Support and help in compliance assessments and remediation activities.
- Follow up on remediation plans and provide assistance to support activities.
Support the organization and digital security officers to assess risk in their business context
- Understand the business & IT context and guide the business & IT stakeholders in classifying key data and system assets.
- Apply threat-based analysis to identify Digital Security & Privacy Risks through threat modelling.
- Define the digital security requirements & controls to effectively decrease the risk to an acceptable level.
- Actively support and follow up with business and IT stakeholders that digital security controls are effectively implemented.
- Support the business and IT stakeholders to effectively report on residual risk to support business planning activities.
You will closely work together with the Head of Strategy and Architecture, who has the responsibility of aligning with Business platform owners, defining the scope, objectives and security strategy for each business platform. Your stakeholders mainly involve IT architects (enterprise- & solution-), engineers, Digital Security officers and Business and Service Owners throughout the global organization to ensure the baseline and the service architecture is relentlessly pursued across the business platforms.
In this role you are the knowledge champion, who will maintain the baseline, compliance assessments and the security services. You will also act in a coordinating role where you work jointly with security officers and managers, to follow up on remediation plans.
Your profile and qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe that you need to be a pro-active, people-centric individual with a quality assurance mindset. Your style of communication is engaging and educational. You are comfortable giving expert advice to various levels in the organization and you actively seek input from your expert peers.
You have the capability to switch between different levels of abstraction easily (conceptual / logical / technological / operational). You are familiar with security concepts, underlying logical services and solutions implementing it. You are very interested in technology and their constraints, the security challenges and requirements for Infrastructure (IT), OT environments (OT) and Cloud environments.
You are familiar with security frameworks such as ISF, SABSA, NIST, ISO27K, CIS18, ISACA, etc. and have multiple years of experience in security (solution) architecture and compliance work. You are familiar with Hybrid Cloud architectures, Operating technology and service-oriented IT operating models.
You are knowledgeable around risk management, information classification and threat modelling and have worked with these processes in your previous roles.
You have worked previously in large organizations in an open, multi-cultural environment.
Location
The role is open on both a permanent and contract basis. A contract position should be available for a period of 12 months.
The role is hybrid but requires travel to a Securitas location on a regular basis.

Securitas Intelligent Services is the entity in the Securitas group that drives its digital transformation.
Securitas is implementing new common global Services based on both Microsoft Azure and Office365 with the addition of private cloud based on VMware technology. It is transforming its global network
and data management capabilities. Both programs are enablers such that Securitas can become a truly data-driven business.
In the coming years, Securitas will also work with IT consolidation to drive synergies and modernize our IT infrastructure and collaboration platforms.
