CRM Support Engineer (Microsoft Dynamics 365)

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Microsoft Dynamics 365 Engineer to join our team, focusing on support and governance of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 suite. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation, configuration, and utilizing best practices of global Dynamics 365 applications, including Sales, Field Service, Project Operations, Client Care, Canvas Apps, and Power Platform, as well as integrations with other external systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving abilities, excellent English communication skills, and a passion for enabling business success through technology.
Responsibilities
Application Support and Maintenance:
- Provide day-to-day support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, addressing user inquiries, resolving technical issues, and minimizing downtime.
- Monitor system health and performance, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability.
Configuration and Setup:
- Configure and customize Dynamics 365 modules to meet business requirements, including workflows, forms, dashboards, and entity relationships.
- Set up and maintain integrations with other business systems.
Testing and Validation:
- Perform system testing, including unit, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure changes meet defined requirements.
- Support new feature deployments and updates by validating configurations and identifying potential risks.
Go-Live and Hypercare Support:
- Assist in the deployment and stabilization of new implementations or updates.
- Provide hypercare coverage post-go-live to ensure smooth adoption and address any issues promptly.
End-User Guidance and Training:
- Develop and deliver knowledge articles and sessions for supporting end users to ensure effective use of Dynamics 365 applications.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on best practices and efficient system use.
Technical Documentation:
- Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including process workflows, configuration guides, troubleshooting procedures, and integration setups.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Partner with business stakeholders, developers, and IT teams to understand requirements, deliver solutions, and address issues.
Requirements
- Experience in supporting and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE applications, desirably including Sales, Field Service, Project Operations, and Canvas Apps.
- Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) and its integration with Dynamics 365.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Knowledge of integrations between Dynamics 365 and other systems via APIs, connectors, or middleware.
- Experience with testing methodologies, including UAT and regression testing.
- Proficient in creating technical documentation and knowledge articles.
- Excellent English language communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, global team environment.
- Familiarity with agile or iterative development processes is a plus.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Certification in Microsoft Business applications (e.g., Dynamics 365 CE, Power Platform).
- Experience in working with global organizations and understanding regional Dynamics 365 requirements.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools for tracking issues and managing deployments.
- Familiarity with tools such as XrmToolBox, SQL, SQL Server Integration Services, Power BI, Microsoft Azure and ServiceNow is advantageous.
