As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an skilled Embedded Security Systems Technician based London, with opportunities to work on projects across the EMEA region.
The Embedded Security Systems Technician will support our client’s Corporate buildings in Europe, focusing on the maintenance, support, and installation of physical security systems. The role includes scheduled and reactive maintenance, preventive maintenance, and installation services for various security technologies. The engineer will be based at a designated site location and will work closely with local and global teams to ensure the ongoing functionality and security of all installed systems.

Role
- Responding to service requests, provide customer with technical support for installed systems within and around the geographical area to which they are assigned.
- Working closely with the Service Coordinator, the technician will perform the daily activities assigned to the role.
- At the discretion of the client, the Embedded Service Technician may be directed to respond to a high priority issue at any time during working hours.
- Service and support systems by carrying out scheduled and/or preventative maintenance tasks as requested by the client.
- The Embedded Service Technician will be onboarded by the client as a badged vendor and will use client-supplied laptops to perform daily work activities.
- Engage with partner teams to coordinate and support all physical security systems activities.
- Maintain system health by performing regular checks and updating documentation as necessary. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring compliance with service level agreements.
- Conduct routine maintenance on various security systems, including but not limited to access control systems, video management systems, and perimeter intrusion detection systems. Maintain and manage local inventory of critical spares in coordination with global teams.
- Respond promptly to system failures and perform diagnostics and repairs to restore functionality.
- Document all actions taken during reactive maintenance and provide reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations at the local site. Follow on-site procedures and utilize industry-standard protective equipment.
Minimum Hiring Standards
Additional qualifications may be specified and receive preference, depending upon the nature of the position.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license or equivalent.
- Must have the legal right to work in the country where the position is located.
- Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently.
- Must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
Education/Experience
- Certified as a Lenel Expert
- Preferably certified as Axis advanced/certified professional
- 5+ years 'experience in high end security integration
- Experience with CCTV, Intruder, access control,
- Experience with enterprise-wide physical security systems,
- Strong knowledge of IP-based systems, network integration, and PoE technologies
- Experience with additional security brands like TRAKA, Bosch
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities,
- Ability to read and understand technical schematics and project documentation,
- Experienced user of Microsoft suite of business applications, like PowerPoint, excel, Outlook.

- Able to travel (domestic, as required) approximately, occasionally with limited notice.
