A highly interactive role with large responsibility

In this role you will manage and prioritize resource planning and demand process for the public website as well as communicate and collaborate with business-, IT- and service provider- stakeholders to maintain good stakeholder relationships.

Some of the key aspects are to support the demand for- and manage service-related items in the service catalogs, define, drive and support service development needs as well as assessing the feasibility of service development initiatives.

As a service manager, you will perform service management in process of development, testing and operational implementation but also need to have an understanding of the functional needs from the service clients and potential technical constraints of the service delivery. 

In the role you will interact with internal and external stakeholders as well as third party vendors to ensure high level of operational-, support- and service performance as well as compliance to legal and security policies and guidelines in terms of IT services provided.

We expect you to manage service description and specifications related to the service to ensure that they always are up to date as well as contribute to and participate in relevant ITIL, ITSM and security processes. You will also participate in CAB meetings and secure proper knowledge level with relevant resources in the service area.

Key components of the role

As the service manager you are expected to keep the service delivery together on a day-to-day basis and act as a sounding board to the process owner as well as driving the development of the web service.

You will act as the primary contact area against the suppliers and provide one cohesive SLA to the process owner. In addition you will lead and/or participate in projects related to the service.

Vendor coordination in relation to application maintenance, support and application development as well as being SPOC to all third-party vendors that are under OLA with regards to the services they provide. 

Continuous monitoring of service to identify areas for improvements. Analyze market and vendor initiatives to continuously develop our services. Provide guidance to IT functions as well as key users and business process owners

Who are we looking for?

You are a natural team player that enjoys communication and has a pragmatic problem-solving approach. In addition you have commercial awareness and organizational skills with emphasis on the agile way of working.

A senior professional with 5+ years of combined experience from working with:

  • An external corporate website
  • Modern public web CMS technology
  • Leadership in agile development teams
  • Integration projects (websites)
  • DevOps and agile product development
  • Service Delivery to business of a website (2+ years xp)

In addition we expect you to have a fluency in English, in speech and writing. The person that would thrive in our organisation is someone who is self-motivated, dependable, curious and willing to learn more and enjoys sharing knowledge and information. 

What will be your main responsibilites?

First and foremost, ensure that public website service runs and performs according to the level of agreement as detailed in SLA’s and OLA’s lined out for the relevant services and its service providers.

In addition:

  • Continuous improvement of the Service
  • Contribute to Service road map
  • Knowledge transfer to Support teams, including support- and methodology documentations
